What's the name of your company: Nuel's Foodzone

Where is your company located?: Ayei Kumi Drive, Kweikuma, Sekondi-Takoradi.

How did you get started in your field?: Well, I have had a passion for cooking since I was a child. It was my dream to open my own food business during my childhood days, so on the 18th of October 2015, I started Nuels Foodzone while I was a student at the University Of Cape Coast.

Tell us a bit more about your company: Nuel's Foodzone is a catering service that provides food and beverage services for all events ranging from weddings, engagements, and cocktail events, to private & corporate events and deliveries.

How did your education and previous experiences help you to become what you are today?: I did Home Economics whilst in Secondary School and being the a guy in the midst of a lot of ladies was not easy but I was so determined and I knew what I was about. Whenever I look back, so many memories come to mind from my Secondary School days and they continue to motivate and drive me as an Entrepreneur today.

Is there anything else you are working on at this time?: Yea, I'm working on a new project related to the food business. It will hopefully be finalized by August/September, then officially out-doored.

How do you define success?: Success is being able to touch lives with the gift that you possess. There is nothing more successful than that!

Who are your heroes and why?: First and foremost; my parents because they taught me most of the things about life & discipline, showed me the way to Christ, motivated me to pursue a course in the Secondary School which has reaped me so many benefits. Secondly, Kofi Annan, for he has proven to me that anybody can make it to the top irrespective of your geographical area & colour - whether you are an African, Asian or European, you can also make it.

If you had to start your career/company all over again, what would you do differently?: I would have started earlier than I did.

What are the top qualities you would require in someone who wants to work with/for you?: Someone who is hardworking, humble, creative and is able to work effectively outside his/her comfort zone.

What advice would you give to students, young professionals and aspiring changemakers/entrepreneurs?: Anything is possible so far as you believe. There is nothing like failure - it's just a mindset, so whatever thing you wish to do, never doubt yourself but believe it is possible - that's when it will materialize!
